Whats the plan?

The route of the TUC #WeDemandBetter cost of living march is lined with shops and restaurants staffed by young, low paid, non unionised workers. We will spend some of the day speaking to them about unionising and about building a movement for a £15 min wage.

Here's how to join in:

1. Sign up, find out more and get connected:

Whether you want to find out more, meet up with some of us on the day, or do this on your own/with friends, your first step is to sign up. We will let you know more about joining in and invite you to join our induction/coordinating Zoom call on Thursday 16 June.

2. Get your kit

Download your script, print some sign up sheets and if possible grab yourself a clipboard

3. On the day

On Saturday 18 June, you can either meet up with some of us to work together, or work on your own or with friends, or even just do this a little bit (like when you stop to buy a coffee or some lunch)

Eitherway, you can use your script and printed sign up sheets to speak with and sign up workers (and ask them to sign up their colleagues!). Send us a photo of your completed sheets by email (info@workforcemovement.org) and we will get back to every worker connecting them with an organiser.

Alternatively, you can just show the QR code below on your phone. If they are able to, workers can scan that on their phones and it will open an online (Google Forms) version of the sign up sheet for them to submit.

P.S. Can you help get your friends involved too?
